Apparently, this dealer, among others in Europe, was sent a memo from Nikon to say that some Nikon products were being discontinued and therefore were no longer available to be ordered. However recent reports from Nikon Rumors, who cite their source as a Nikon dealer in Germany, had confirmed the camera was to bbe discontinued.
